Producer, writer, actor and composer Somtow Sucharitkul’s movie, “The Maestro: A Symphony of Terror” will be shown in theatres on Saturday and Sunday.

The movie can be seen at SF World Cinema in CentralWorld, Bangkok, and SFX Cinema in Maya Chiengmai, central Korat, and Central Phuket. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday.

The movie has received many awards at international film festivals including the Spirit of Cinema Award at the Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany.

The movie was directed by British director Paul Spurrier while Somtow wrote the script and produced it. He also played the lead role as “Dr Arun”.

Somtow said that he had produced the movie to help musicians as they could not perform during the Covid-19 situation.

He also composed the main theme “The Tongues of Angels” to convey the story of Dr Aruns’s complexity, confusion, and pain that mix together with happiness and sadness.
