A rare five-planet “parade” will be visible in the skies above Thailand before dawn on Friday and Saturday, the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (Narit) said on Thursday.

In a rare celestial phenomenon last seen more than 1,000 years ago, an alignment of the planets Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye in Thailand from Monday to Wednesday (April 25-27).

PARIS - Researchers announced Wednesday the stunning discovery of seven Earth-like planets orbiting a small star in our galaxy, opening up the most promising hunting ground so far for life beyond the Solar System.

The pubic is urged to get up early from Friday to Sunday to witness a special alignment of Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mercury and the moon.
